Glossary

Every number on every page uses one of these. Demand is the noun, watchers the unit.

Demand
The measured appetite for a title in a market over a window. The noun used everywhere in the console; it is counted, not modelled.
Watchers
The unit of demand: the number of people observed watching or downloading a title without a licensed offer, in the window, resolved to title and market.
Demand source
The path the demand was observed on: peer-to-peer, streaming or downloads. "All sources" is the sum.
Time range
The window a ranged module answers for: 7, 30 or 90 days, or a named month. One picker sets it for the whole console.
Market
A country or territory. 195 markets are counted separately; there is no global average standing in for one.
Unmet demand
Demand in a market where the title has no licensed offer. The addressable part of the number.
Gap score
Demand against licensed availability in the same market, 0 to 100. High demand and low availability score high; the Demand gap module ranks by it.
Velocity
Hours from a release event to mass demand. Lower is faster; under six hours is red.
Momentum
The change in demand over the trailing twelve months, as a percentage. Momentum movers ranks the risers and fallers.
Risk score
A composite 0 to 100 per title, blending demand, velocity, source stage and spread across markets. Bands: Critical 90+, High 75+, Medium 50+, Low.
Source stage
The kind of copy observed: CAM (cinema capture), screener, WEB-DL (digital release) and the resolutions within them. Escalation from one to the next is a leak event.
Window
The period between one release and the next: theatrical to digital, digital to streaming. Release window measures its length against demand.
Share
A part of the whole in the same window: a studio’s share of demand, a market’s share of a title, a genre’s share of the catalogue.
Catalogue
Every title with demand, with its studio, network, genres, year and format. 550,000+ titles resolved.
Workspace
One client’s view of the catalogue: their titles, their seats, their starred modules. Ranked modules rank the whole market; catalogue pages read one thing.
